Today 13th of November is World Kindness Day and at Monkey Puzzle East Sheen we celebrated the power of being gentle and kind throughout the whole day. Our children learnt the importance of simple kind actions towards any human beings such as plants and animals a part from our peers and friends. Our children understood the power of using hands with attention and without hurting anyone as everyone deserves respect and kindness. Today our preschoolers took part in two wonderful hands-on activity, hairdressing role play and washing the dishes. The children took great enthusiasm in being a hairdresser using brushes and combs and a little hair foam to do different hairstyles. This encouraged their language development. The children demonstrated care and respect for one another showing how gentle they could be brushing and styling hair. During the dishwashing activity the children developed their fine motor skills and built on their independence to take responsibility looking after the play space and ensuring they scrubbed, rinse and placed dishes carefully on the counter to dry. Kira has six years experience in Childcare. She enjoys working with children from all ages and enjoy being part of their development reaching their full potential. This week our preschoolers have been focusing on the different of the sea life enhancing all the skills that they discussed during their trip to Sea Life museum. All our preschoolers are still excited thinking about their lovely outing and they are still requesting to talk about sea environment making a new art and craft board and different kind of fish. The preschoolers had a spectacular time at the Sea Life Aquarium. They were fascinated at the different types of the Sharks, Jellyfish, Stingrays and other creatures. The children learnt a lot about the sea creatures in the ocean. They even described the different looks on the faces of some of the creatures. How To Find Monkey Puzzle East Sheen
Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery East Sheen, is proudly located in the heart of East Sheen in the SW14 postal sector. The nursery is on Upper Richmond Road, between The Parkside Christian Centre and East Sheen Primary School, on the corner of Shottfield Avenue. Mortlate Train Station is just a 12 minute walk away and we’re just a short drive away from the M4. This makes us well-located for serving families in the town of East Sheen.
